Viggo Mortensen is an actor, director, publisher, poet, photographer, painter, and musician. He has received various Academy Award nominations for Best Actor. He starred in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, Eastern Promises, The Road, Green Book and Captain Fantastic. His directorial debut, Falling, appeared in 2020, followed by The Dead Don’t Hurt in 2023, for which he also wrote the music and screenplay. He owns and runs Perceval Press, a book publishing company. He speaks fluent English, Spanish, French, and Danish and has released three jazz albums.

Throughout his distinguished military career, General Dallaire served most notably as Force Commander of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Rwanda during the 1994 genocide. He continues to work tirelessly to bring national and international attention to situations too often ignored, whether the impact of post-traumatic stress disorder and moral injury on veterans of security forces and their families, finding strategic solutions for lasting peace, or the prevention of mass atrocities and the recruitment and use of children in armed conflict.
