Wander the streets of the beautifully conserved Medina of Fez, Morrocco! Aziza Chaouni (Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design) explores the influence of urban change on the architectural monuments, landscapes, and urban spaces of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Speaker bio

Aziza Chaouni is Associate Professor at the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, University of Toronto. She is a specialist on urban renewal, sustainable architecture and eco- tourism with a particular focus on the country of Morocco. She is a recipient of multiple awards for her architectural projects and her research.
