2020 Lapis Digital Benefit

On Thursday, September 24, 2020, the Aga Khan Museum proudly presented its first-ever Lapis Digital Benefit – a bright and bold reinvention of our annual signature gala!

Reimagined as a free and accessible event, over 15,000 viewers joined us from more than 40 countries to celebrate diversity and pluralism. Inspired by the theme of “Lighting the Way: The Museum as a Cultural Sanctuary”, six performers and nine panelists shared their talents and insights through stunning performances and thought-provoking conversations.

Through the generous support of our sponsors and donors, we raised $868,000 in support of the Museum’s Rebuild 2020 program — a series of initiatives aimed at helping people heal and reconnect through the arts.
