2019 Fall Performing Arts Season Lineup

We’re excited to announce the 2019/20 Performing Arts season, Listening to Each Other — a simple act with powerful reverberations.

Our lineup invites audiences to listen to the vibrant stories of top artists from around the world, with a special spotlight on pan-African music and film for the Museum’s fall season, Africa!

With so much talent, it’s difficult to choose highlights, but you won’t want to miss reimagined folk songs from Toko Telo — a trio of Madagascar’s biggest stars, groovy songs of praise in Yemen Blues Plays Hallel, cross-cultural North African melodies from The Maghreb Project, breathtaking modern Flamenco dance from Eduardo Guerrero, and music of exile from Malian rocker Ahmed Ag Kaedy. See the complete lineup here.

Thank you to the Ontario Arts Council, the City of Toronto, Gulshan & Pyarali G. Nanji Family Foundation, and TD Bank Group for setting out with us to listen in this irresistible season that celebrates diversity, spurs social change, and connects communities.
