Aga Khan Museum temporarily closed starting January 5, 2022.

Effective Wednesday, January 05, 2022, the Aga Khan Museum will be temporarily closed in accordance with new government directives aimed at curbing the spread of COVID-19. We will look to public health officials for guidance on when it is appropriate for the Museum to reopen.

Ticket purchases for affected Museum programs and events will be eligible for a refund. The Museum will contact ticketholders shortly with more information.

During our building closure, people around the world can continue to visit our online #MuseumWithoutWalls, where we post engaging art, talks, activities for families and children, and more — all experiences one can enjoy from the comfort and safety of home. Following the Museum on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and viewing our regularly updated #MuseumWithoutWalls program calendar are the best ways to stay on top of all the stimulating new content.

The Museum’s response to COVID-19 is part of our steadfast commitment to creating a safe and inviting environment for everyone. We thank you for your support, and we look forward to welcoming you again in the near future.
