FAQ: All you need to know about Dancing in the Park events in the Aga Khan Park

 

Where do Dancing in the Park events take place?
Rain or shine, all events are onsite. Dancing in the Park events take place in the grassy area between the reflecting pools and Wynford Drive. In the event of rain, On Stage events take place in the social hall of the Ismaili Centre, Toronto, at 49 Wynford Drive and On Screen events take place in the Museum’s auditorium. Will food be available onsite?  
A selection of light refreshments will be available for purchase during the events.

 

Can we bring chairs or blankets?
Yes! Please make yourself comfortable with your own chairs and blankets. No on site seating will be provided.

 

How early before an event should we show up?
All On Stage events start promptly. On Screen events begin shortly after sundown.

 

Are Museum galleries open during Dancing in the Park events?
With private events scheduled for July 14 and August 18, the Museum will be not be accessible to visitors. However, during all other Dancing in the Park events on July 21, August 4, and September 1, the first-floor galleries have extended their opening hours to 9 pm and admission is pay-what-you-can. In addition, admission is FREE every Wednesday from 4 pm to 8 pm.
